San Rafael Vineyard

Climate

Our San Rafael Vineyard has a Mediterranean climate, strongly influenced by the cold nighttime wind that comes from the Andes Mountains. This effect increases the daily temperature oscillation and reduces the periods of maximum temperatures, which helps the fruit ripen more slowly and in very good condition.

Soil

Gentle slopes with sedimentary soils of volcanic origin. The slopes are of medium depth with a clay-loam texture on the surface and at depth, with little organic matter.

Area under vine: 546 hectares.

Average rainfall: 750 mm per year.

Varieties

Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Cabernet Franc, Sangiovese, Syrah, Carmenere, Petit Verdot, Malbec, Pinot Noir, Merlot.
