Nilahue Vineyard

Climate

Our Nilahue Vineyard has a Mediterranean climate, characterized by four well-defined seasons. This climate is only found in five places around the world: the Mediterranean coast, the California coast, the Cape of Good Hope, and the southeastern coast of Australia. The low humidity, the influence of the Pacific Ocean, and the breeze from the Coastal Mountain Range generates a daily temperature oscillation of approximately 10ºC / 50ºF, which is ideal for viticulture.

Deeply stratified hills with soils of alluvial origin and a fine clay texture with a presence of rocks at different stages of erosion. Little organic material and low fertility.
